ACE Malaysia
ACE has been operating in Malaysia as a general insurer since 1948, first as Insurance Company of North America then as Perdana CIGNA Insurance Berhad. In July 1999, CIGNA disposed off its entire Property & Casualty (P&C) business in both its US and international markets to ACE Limited.
ACE Synergy Insurance Berhad (ACE Malaysia) was subsequently formed as a joint-venture entity between ACE Limited and Advance Synergy Capital Sdn Bhd with ACE holding the controlling stake of 51%. The company offers a broad range of general insurance products through agents, brokers, direct marketing and telemarketing.
ACE Malaysia has a strong reputation in underwriting large and specialized risks in commercial and industrial projects that require high level of expertise and capacity. It is one of the leaders in the innovative distribution of Accident & Health products via Direct Marketing and Telemarketing.
